On Wednesday, February 18, 2009, Mr. Truong's fourth/fifth grade class went on a field trip to our state capital, Sacramento. At Sacramento, they went to visit the California State Indian Museum, the State Capitol, and the California State Railroad Museum. The students learned a lot about their state government, how laws were formed, and about their state's history and statehood. The students even got to meet Senator Corbett and presented her with their written letters urging her to protect funding for education. |
