Dear Parents, Guardians and Students,
I would like to take the opportunity to welcome you and your student to fourth grade at McKinley School. This year marks an important transition time, which begins the preparation for your child to move on to middle school. With this preparation comes the increased expectation of individual responsibility and organization. I look forward to a very exciting and productive year!
Each student has been provided with the following supplies: a pencil (they'll get a new one each month), glue stick, eraser, crayons, scissors, 1 spiral notebook, 1 journal and a ruler. They have also been given a yellow homework folder which they will use to bring homework, notices and letters to and from school. In order to promote student responsibility if any textbook, scissors or ruler is lost, stolen, broken, or damaged on purpose, the student must replace the cost of the item.
