Welcome to McKinley Kindergarten
Room 3A. We are very happy to be your child's teachers!
8:30 Line up on Northwest sidewalk in front of school
11:30 Pick up at gate
Please send a labeled nutritious snack with your child and put
it in the snack basket.
Morning Procedures:
· Students hang backpacks on top hook and sweaters/jackets
below it.
· Put attendance card into slot labeled with the child's
name
·Please put folder in cubbie labeled with the student's
name.
· Sit quietly on the rug
At home:
· please check and review papers from the folder with your
child; please send the folder back each day.
·Name tags are to stay at school. If a name tag goes home
by mistake, please send it back the next day.
·Classroom rules:
Listen carefully to the teacher
Come into the room quietly and sit down.
Raise your hand if you wish to speak.
Work quietly.
Keep your hands and feet to yourself. Treat others with
respect
·School rules: We are respectful.
1. We use polite and kind words.
2. We don't bully, tease, or use put downs.
3. We keep hands, feet, and objects to ourselves.
` We are responsible.
4. We arrive on time with our materials and positive attitudes.
5. We stand and walk in straight quiet lines with our hands by
our sides.
We always follow school and classroom rules.
·Consequences for not following rules in the classroom:
name on board
check next to name
wall slip
call parent
go to office to see principal
Please send the folder back to school each day after removing
the papers, and
going over them with your child; it really helps us keep organized!
